Born, Raised, and Settled in Prince George's County
Bryan Swann was born and raised in Landover Hills and Glenn Dale, MD. He attended Largo High School, Charles Carroll Middle School, and Bladensburg Elementary where his mother was a Prince George’s County school teacher/principal. Bryan spent all of his childhood and the majority of his adulthood in District 4. Bryan currently lives in District 4 and has two sons enrolled in PGCPS.
Harvard Grad & Veteran Focused on Service
Bryan is active in the community, a US Marine Corps veteran, and a civilian public servant. Additionally, Bryan earned his Master of Public Administration and Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and the University of Maryland at College Park, respectively.
Selected Among Top Candidates
Recently, Bryan was selected from a pool of highly qualified candidates by County Executive Alsobrooks to fill the vacant District 4 Board of Education seat and was unanimously approved by the Prince George's County Council.
Brings Solid Experience
Prior to serving on the board of education, Bryan worked in the White House during the Obama Administration, the U.S. Department of Defense, the private sector, and currently is a Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he manages multi-billion dollar budgets.
